DONATION OF 100 APPAREL VOUCHERS TO CHILDREN OF POOR FAMILIES IN LARNACA FOR CHRISTMAS
When we hear the word Christmas, pictures of joy come to everyone’s minds. Pictures like being next to our beautifully decorated Christmas tree with family and friends, eating, laughing and exchanging gifts and wishes! These magic moments help us put aside for a while the stresses and anxieties of everyday life.
There are however those who cannot feel and enjoy this festive atmosphere. For these fellow men those days may even be a little more sad than usual because they remind them of everything that is missing from their lives. They cannot shed a little stardust and make everything brighter.
This year, Christmas will be different for every one of us. Less bright and shiny, more sad and away from our loved ones. We are altogether in this. Altogether we must try to help in any way we can to make this festive period a little more promising and optimistic for some of our fellow men.
To this effect our company, within the framework of our corporate social responsibility, offered 100 coupons worth totally €5000 to children in need from four Larnaca primary schools (Sotiros, Kamares, Drosia and Pervolia), to be used at Eponymo Fashion Store in Larnaca, to supply themselves with the necessary apparel items.
Gifts are not just material goods. They are an indication of love and care and our longing to make someone happy and show that we care. Life, love, health and happiness cannot be bought with money.
